Biographie

When and why did you start training for fighting? I started doing jiu-jitsu in 2003. I started boxing in 2005, then Muay Thai 2 years ago. After my 3rd pro fight I made it on TUF 6.

What ranks and titles have you held No titles....but I am a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Brown belt .

Do you have any heroes? Jesus Christ…….BJ Penn, Marcelo Garcia, Rickson Gracie

What is your favorite technique? My favorite technique is anything that will put my opponent to sleep. Some people can slip out of arm and leg locks, so I'd say the triangle!!

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It means I’ve reached my first goal and made it to the "Big Show" in fighting; this is the major leagues for MMA

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? Yes. The University of Tampa, Bachelor of Science.

What was your job before you started fighting? College, sold life insurance, promotions…Before that, I’ve done every job you can name in the summers for extra money.
