At UFC 31 Semmy defeated Lion’s Den fighter, Pete Williams in of the second round by referee stoppage due to strikes. “It was a good new experience for me and I met a lot of new fighters. I've been in Japan for more then 30 times, so you can imagine that America was completely different in many ways.”
