• Origin of “Daudi” – “My parents named me Daudi (but put David on the birth certificate for ease of travel) after their best friend in Tanzania, Africa where they lived before I was born. Daudi was an Englishman who moved to Africa, changed his name to Daudi (Swahili for David), took on Tanzanian citizenship, and lived a life of great adventure and loyal service to Africa.”
