TRAINING: Mornings consist of either grappling or sparring. Evenings I hit mitts, wrestle or do S&C.

When and why did you start training for fighting? Started training for fun and became hooked once I had my first fight.

What ranks and titles have you held? None

Do you have any heroes? My dad

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It has been a goal and dream of mine ever since I started in the sport.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? Attended the University of Oregon and earned a bachelors degree in Sociology and minored in business.

What was your job before you started fighting? Worked many different jobs, such as landscaping and installing computers in dental offices.

Specific accomplishments in amateur competition? Champion of a local amateur show in Oregon.

Specific accomplishments in pro competition? Submission win over 2008 no gi world champion Cleber Luciano in MMA fight.

Favorite grappling technique: Armbar, rear naked & guillotine.
