Unbeaten Brazilian phenom Thomas Almeida will get a home game after fighting his last two bouts in North America, as he battles Anthony Birchak in bantamweight action at the Ginásio do Ibirapuera in Sao Paulo on November 7.
UFC Fight Night, which is headlined by the rubber match between Vitor Belfort and Dan Henderson, airs live on FOX Sports 1.
Perfect in 20 pro fights, the 24-year-old Almeida has won post-fight performance bonuses in each of his three UFC bouts as he's defeated Tim Gorman, Yves Jabouin and Brad Pickett. Arizona's Birchak, winner of six of his last seven, is coming off his first Octagon victory in June, when he knocked out Joe Soto in 97 seconds.
