Casey Returns to Face Alcantara in SD

Back in the Octagon for the first time since July of 2014, former Ultimate Fighter 17 competitor Kevin Casey faces Brazil's Ildemar Alcantara in a middleweight bout at San Diego's Valley View Casino Center on July 15.

Fight Night San Diego, which is headlined by the heavyweight bout between Frank Mir and Todd Duffee, will air live on FOX Sports 1.

Currently on a four-fight unbeaten streak, jiu-jitsu ace Casey will be making his first start since a no contest with Bubba Bush at UFC 175 last July. In Alcantara, he will meet up with a fighter who has won two of his last three bouts, defeating Albert Tumenov and Richardson Moreira.
