The Ultimate Fighter: Team Nogueira vs Team Mir, premieres Wednesday night on Spike TV following UFC Fight Night, and if the first episode of the show is any indication, this season should be one of the most memorable yet.

In the opener, 16 light heavyweights and 16 lightweights will begin the elimination process, and while the fights are full of knockouts, submissions, and an upset or two, there is plenty of drama outside the Octagon as well, with some firsts never before seen on The Ultimate Fighter, as well as some unforgettable one-liners that will have fight fans talking for days.

It all begins on Wednesday, September 17th, following the UFC Fight Night card on Spike TV.

But if you can’t wait to get your Ultimate Fighter fix, tune in to Spike TV this Saturday at 9am for The Ultimate Fighter season 1 marathon. See where Forrest Griffin, Kenny Florian, Chris Leben, Josh Koscheck, Stephan Bonnar, Diego Sanchez, Mike Swick, and Nate Quarry got their UFC starts, as every episode from that historic season is aired in its entirety. Also, UFC President Dana White and UFC commentator Joe Rogan host the reunion of members of the first TUF cast, with clips of this meeting interspersed throughout the marathon.
