UFC on FOX 10 Presser and Bonus Recap

Read below to see who took home bonuses at UFC on FOX 10.

Seven fighters joined UFC Sr. Director of Public Relations Dave Sholler at the UFC on FOX 10 post-fight press conference - Stipe Miocic, Josh Thomson, Jeremy Stephens, Alex Caceres, Donald Cerrone, Benson Henderson, and Eddie Wineland

Caceres and Sergio Pettis, younger brother of lightweight champion Anthony Pettis, won fight of the night for their bantamweight brawl. The two exchanged big shots early on, with Pettis controlling the first two rounds. But Caceres came out strong in the third, finishing the younger Pettis via rear-naked choke with just 20 second left to fight.

Caceres, a Miami native, also took home Submission of the Night for the win. The 25-year-old stated that he'd like to invest the money, 100k total, in "something that might grow into something bigger in the future."

Donald 'Cowboy' Cerrone earned Knockout of the Night for his head-kick finish of Adriano Martins. As for his 50k bonus, Cerrone stated, "I'm sure Cabela's gettin' a big chunk of it." The bonus marked Cerrone's 13th Zuffa fight bonus, a new record. Anderson Silva and Joe Lauzon have 12, all in the UFC.

At the top of the presser, Sholler announced that the UFC has prepared a contingency plan in the rare situation that the NFL's Super Bowl is rescheduled. According to Sholler, if the NFL moves their game to Saturday (Feb. 1), UFC 169 will be moved to Sunday (Feb. 2).

Speaking of the Super Bowl, Cerrone and Henderson both expressed a desire to change their Broncos-Seahawks wager. The pair had originally agreed that the loser shave his eyebrows, but after finding out how difficult it is to re-grow the hair above their eyelids, they agreed to restruct the bet.
